Chronic Illness and Marriage from Focus on the Family
A really great article on chronic illness and marriage. I saw a statistic that 75% of marriages fail, when one partner is diagnosed with a chronic disease. Life changes when one is diagnosed and some parts of marriage life must be mourned. Also one of the "best" ways to cause your relationship to fail is to "bother" the chronically ill spouse saying things like "Why don't you do more/work more.? Are you REALLY sick?
